Impact Initiatives

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.

At Sustainable Seed, we believe that true impact is achieved through collective efforts. Our commitment to collaboration goes beyond just a value – it’s at the core of who we are.

We view each initiative as a testament to the incredible potential that emerges when like-minded organizations come together with a shared vision.

Through co-creation and collective action, we amplify our impact and foster a world where positive change is not just a possibility, but a reality we actively cultivate.

SDG Young Innovators Program

Sustainable Seed has implemented with the UN Global Compact Network Switzerland & Liechtenstein the SDG Innovation Accelerator for Young Professionals.

This 9-month program is an amazing opportunity for participating companies to empower young talent within their organizations to collaborate and accelerate business innovation toward Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Each team of young innovators works on a challenge specific to their company, with the goal of designing more sustainable business models, initiatives, and products that will advance their company’s sustainability efforts while driving innovation and delivering tangible solutions with potential market value.

Future Council - U24

Sustainable Seed has joined the Evaluation Advisory Board of the Future Council U24 with to ensure a sustainable impact in Switzerland, with link-minded organizations.

The Future Council U24 is a ground-breaking initiative led by the UNESCO and Swiss Society for the Common Good to give young people and adults in Switzerland a powerful political voice

As part of this initiative, a citizen’s assembly is created and 80 young individuals aged 16-24 have been selected to discuss pressing questions put forward by the youth such as mental health, education for equal opportunities, socially acceptable sustainability, migration, cohesion, and democratic participation.

Drive Change:
Social Entrepreneurship Pitch

At Geneva Business School (GBS), Sustainable Seed initiated and co-organized the Drive Change: Social Entrepreneurship Pitch Event with the educational institution.

Throughout 26 hours, 17 students and 5 teams immersed in a social entrepreneurial journey, experienced the process of developing purpose-driven projects and finding innovative solutions for social or environmental issues. Key themes such as sustainable development, entrepreneurship, responsible leadership, impact investing, and innovation have been explored.

The Pitch Event was made for the teams to pitch their project in front of experienced and expert speakers and jury members.
